Samuel Jackson LRCC MChiro DC

Chiropractor

After earning his chiropractic degree in 2010, Sam worked in Southend and then managed two London clinics in Kensington & Broadgate. In 2013, he moved back to Jersey and has since developed a special interest in biomechanics, surface electromyography, pain science, and rehab techniques.

Since 2012, alongside his practice, Sam has been creating an online platform for back pain self-management, blending biomedical engineering, fitness, animation, and gamification to enhance patient care.

In 2014, Sam founded a non-profit clinic, directing it for six years. The clinic evaluated modifiable risk factors in 4,000+ people, guiding them towards healthier lifestyles. It also aided those hindered by pain or disability from physical activity. Sam has a calm, methodical and thoughtful manner, and always makes it his priority to put his patients at ease. His unique approach emphasises a blend of personalised, patient-led management with a focus on education and self-care.

How Many Visits Will I Need?

At SpineLab, we champion supported self-care, a patient-led approach that focuses on empowering clients to make informed decisions and play an active role in their own healthcare journey. As individuals master symptom management, their dependence on our remedial services decreases.

Chiropractic

Spinal pain varies among individuals. Based on our experience, acute cases, with symptoms under twelve weeks, often improve within 3–5 chiropractic sessions. These visits aim to reduce symptom intensity and preserve function as tissues heal and strengthen.

Rehab/Performance

If deemed beneficial, we might schedule rehab sessions using our prototype gym for personalised symptom management coaching. Our focus then shifts beyond traditional chiropractic by tackling activities hindered by pain. This aims to restore physical confidence, regain lost functionality, and boost resilience for lasting relief.

For those with pain lasting over twelve weeks, termed chronic pain, they might have already tried treatments like chiropractic, medications or injections. In such cases, we quickly pivot to pain reframing, lifestyle change and rehab.

Our aim is to help them broaden their self-management techniques and adopt positive lifestyle habits to reduce pain sensitivity. This empowers them to steadily pursue their goals and resume cherished activities, even with persistent symptoms.
